Slowing down, showing up, and sitting with the Savior
There’s something deeply comforting about a quiet moment with a warm cup of coffee in hand. The world feels a little softer, the noise fades just enough, and your heart finally has space to breathe. Now imagine inviting Jesus into that moment.
“Coffee with Jesus” isn’t about the drink—it’s about the posture. It’s about intentionally setting aside time to sit with Him, to listen, to speak, and simply to be.
A Daily Invitation
Every day, Jesus invites us into relationship—not a rushed, checklist kind of faith, but a real, personal connection. In the middle of our busy schedules, endless notifications, and responsibilities, He gently calls us to pause.
That quiet time in the morning, or even a few minutes in the afternoon, can become sacred when we choose to spend it with Him.
You don’t need a perfect setup. No fancy journal. No long, eloquent prayers. Just a willing heart.
What Does “Coffee with Jesus” Look Like?
It can be as simple as this:
Sitting in silence and becoming aware of His presence
Reading a few verses from Scripture and reflecting on them
Talking to Him honestly—about your worries, your hopes, your gratitude
Listening… even if it feels like nothing is happening
Sometimes it will feel powerful and emotional. Other times, it may feel quiet or even ordinary. Both are okay. Relationship isn’t built on feelings alone—it’s built on consistency.
The Beauty of Showing Up
One of the most meaningful things you can offer is your presence. Not perfection, not performance—just presence.
When you show up daily, even when you’re tired or distracted, you’re saying, “Jesus, You matter to me.”
And over time, something beautiful happens.
You begin to recognize His voice more clearly.
You find peace in situations that once overwhelmed you.
You carry a quiet strength into your day.
Let It Be Real
“Coffee with Jesus” doesn’t have to look like anyone else’s routine. Your time with Him is personal.
Some days you might cry.
Some days you might sit in silence.
Some days you might just whisper, “I’m here.”
And that’s enough.
A Gentle Reminder
You don’t have to wait until everything is together before you come to Him.
Come as you are—messy, tired, unsure, hopeful.
He’s already waiting.
So tomorrow morning, or even right now, grab your coffee (or tea ☕), find a quiet corner, and simply sit with Jesus.
You might be surprised how much your heart needed it.
“Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.” — James 4:8
